Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery

Founder Dr. Scot F. Bertolo, opened Urban Podiatry with the desire to provide the most specialized care for his patients. He has special expertise in sports related injuries, diabetic foot care, as well as reconstructive foot surgery. His dedication to his patients is extraordinary.

Dr. Bertolo received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. He then graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland Ohio and ultimately completed his medical training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Kaiser Permanente. This comprehensive medical and surgical training was completed at one of the most cutting-edge teaching, research and clinical care institutions in the world.

After his formal training at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Bertolo was an associate partner in a large, multi-disciplinary medical practice in Syracuse, New York where he worked with some of the best internal and specialized medical physicians in Central New York. He continues to apply and expand upon his general medical knowledge to offer the best possible care to his patients everyday.

He is an avid sports enthusiast. With two young sons, he spends most of his free time on the soccer field as a proud father and coach.
